The Ultimate Relay Challenge Kicks Off Clubs Cup
The first Clubs Cup event of the year took over the UPEI Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, November 6 at 5:30 p.m. The Ultimate Relay Challenge, organized by UPEI Clubs and Societies, brought students together for a fast and funny race filled with riddles, clues, and lots of running. The event was led by VP Student Life Caitlyn Sallavo with help from Amy Crocker.
Originally, the relay was supposed to take place outdoors. Teams were meant to run from one campus building to another, solving clues as they went. But the rainy weather had other plans. Instead, everyone rushed through the halls of the Performing Arts Centre. Teams sprinted from the ground floor to the second floor and back over and over, trying to piece together the answers as fast as possible.

The vibe was loud, chaotic, and super exciting. Every team fought to catch their breath while cracking riddles, cheering each other on, and getting lost in the fun. Groups formed mini huddles to solve clues before passing them off like a baton. The whole place felt like a mix of a scavenger hunt and a cardio workout session.
After a thrilling and close race, the winners were announced and gained their prize for club funding. The UPEI Pre Med Society claimed first place and took home $250, the UPEI Filipino Society [KABAYAN] earned second place and $150, and the UPEI Nursing Society secured third place and $100. The Ultimate Relay Challenge was a fun and friendly way to bring clubs together. It set an exciting tone for the rest of the Clubs Cup competitions ahead.
