Cosmic Collision

There shall come a time

When gravity will pause

And our planets shall touch

And darkness will be lost.

There shall be some space

Where stars will collapse

And our existence shall conquer

All being-or-nothing gaps.

And if the universe shall survive

The explosion of our embrace

Let our ardor last time eternal

In this state of cosmic grace.
