It’s common to see students at UPEI celebrate Halloween by wearing costumes on campus. From witches to Mario characters to furries, costume watching is a favourite Halloween activity at UPEI. The Cadre decided to celebrate by asking three students what their favourite part of Halloween is.
Connie responded by saying, “[I love] literally everything. Trick or treaters, candy, costumes.â€
Connie was smiling while explaining all of her favourite parts of Halloween.
Alexia showed enthusiasm when talking about Halloween. After pausing for a moment she thought of her favourite part of Halloween. “Adults are allowed to go back to the childhood situation- get to dress up,†she said.
She continued by explaining the enjoyment of getting to feel like a child again.
Samantha knew her answer quickly, “costumes!â€
UPEI students obviously love Halloween, and for many reasons, and so do we here at the Cadre. Happy Halloween Everyone!
