Today we are happy to release the final Ten Foot Pole recording for the year. Stepping up to the plate to host for the first time is Cadre Managing Editor Elizabeth Iwunwa. We are incredibly pleased to have with us as our guests Katie VanLeeuwen and Nick Scott representing WUSC (World University Service of Canada). Among the many things WUSC does is sponsor refugee studies to come and study at Canadian universities. The local chapter at UPEI has recently spearheaded a campaign to increase the WUSC fees that all students pay in tuition to bring over several more students to UPEI.
We’d like to thank all our listeners for the year and we plan on resuming next year!
