The Cadre has a small staff of three part-time employees. We count on UPEI students to be volunteer writers, photographers, and videographers.
To have your work published in The Cadre, please send your submissions to The Cadre’s Editor-in-Chief at cadfreeditor@gmail.com. The Editor-in-Chief will review your submission and will either work with you to edit it and have it published, or assign one of The Cadre’s two managing editors to work with you.
We strive to publish all student content we receive—send us your ideas, articles, letters, photographs, videos, and illustrations. We are always looking for new voices to tell stories that inform, enrich, and resonate with UPEI students.
If you submit any visuals, please ensure that you provide us with proper credit. Note that The Cadre may request a list of the sources you used to write your submission. For information on what The Cadre will and will not publish, refer to The Cadre’s Editorial Policy.
Our weekly meetings are open to all students and we encourage all to come see what stories The Cadre has got on the go!
